Puppy Prices (regardless of sex):

A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required to hold a puppy and determines pick order. If the puppy is not available due to health or wrong gender, or color the deposit will be refunded. If the buyer decides to change their mind in regard to the purchase of the puppy once the seller receives the deposit, the deposit will be forfeited by the buyer. All pups are sold with limited registration unless otherwise arranged between the buyer and seller.

Holding Agreement:

A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 is required to hold a puppy and determines pick order. The seller assigns the buyer the guarantee that the dog will not be sold to any party other than the buyer as long as the buyer adheres to the “Picking up your Puppy” guideline”. The $250 deposit is refundable, if, and only if your sex and color is not available and will be applied to the purchase price of the puppy when the buyer assumes physical possession of the assigned puppy. Deposits will be accepted via personal check, money order, Venmo or PayPal. The balance is due in full before the puppy is released to their new owner. All puppies are sold with limited registration unless otherwise arranged between the buyer and seller.

Health:

This puppy is current on all vaccinations and dewormings which are detailed in the health record.

This puppy is guaranteed to be in good health, to the best of the seller’s knowledge. If he/she wishes, the buyer has 72 hours, from the date of ownership in which to have the puppy checked by a licensed veterinarian. IF THERE IS A PROBLEM THAT CANNOT BE RECTIFIED, you may return the puppy to us, at your expense, on the day following the vet exam, along with a veterinarian’s statement stating the problem. You will receive a full refund of the purchase price of the pup. This does not include the presence of parasites and does not apply to a health problem resulting from an injury or accident due to your negligence. All medical expenses are the sole responsibility of the buyer. The breeder is in no way responsible for any vet bills incurred after the puppy leaves the care of Luke’s Labrador Retrievers.

Viral, bacterial colds or infections such as Coccidia or Giardia (bloody stools) are a form of worms which are easily treated and are not covered in the health guarantee as they are natural things puppies can pick up. Puppies are naturally at risk for coccidia or giardia or worms which is often brought on by the stress of a new home, new food, new people, or just a change in environment.

**24-month Hip Guarantee against genetic severe crippling hip dysplasia:

Limited or Full AKC Registration Puppy: the following applies:

Your puppy is guaranteed until it reaches 24 months of age against severe crippling hip dysplasia.
Prior to 24 months of age, the buyer must provide x-rays for submission to the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) and/or a veterinarian of the breeder’s choosing.
The original buyer of the dog has the right to a replacement puppy from the next available and comparable litter considering the following criteria has been met:
- The original buyer must own the puppy.
- Written verification from a veterinarian that the puppy meets the criteria below.

The puppy must not have sired or whelped a litter.
The puppy must not have been overfed or overweight for its bone structure.
No evidence that the puppy has been overstressed or exercised during the important developmental period of its life.
No signs of abuse, neglect, or injuries that could be the cause of such dysplasia.

If surgery rather than euthanasia is chosen, we ask that you spay or neuter the dog.

Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS):

Early Neurological Stimulation has been performed on the puppies in order to give the dog a superior advantage. Five benefits that have been observed in canines that were exposed to ENS are:

Picking Up Your Puppy:

Your assigned puppy needs to be picked up as arranged with the seller. This is normally the weekend between the 7th and 8th week, depending on the birth date.

Because 60% of all canine hip dysplasia is related to poor nutrition, we recommend that if you chose not to continue with the Life’s Abundance, that you choose another high-quality dog food that Is suitable for your dog’s age. Labrador puppies have an increased risk of developing a crippling and permanent form of hip disease if they are fed a diet that contains too much calcium for their larger breed size. They should remain on a high-quality puppy food for the first 12 months of age. Providing a higher nutritious valued food, helps to prevent fast growth, fewer bone problems, fewer vet bills, and promotes longer life. Purina Pro Plan, Iams, or Eukanuba puppy food are all brands we would recommend.

The buyer(s) shall provide proper nutrition, vet care, shelter, and exercise. The pup shall be socialized properly after all immunizations are given, to include other people outside the family, other dogs, and strange places. Obedience classes are recommended before the pup is 1 year old.

Breeder has the right to, at any time; decide to stop breeding Labrador Retrievers. In this case, no replacement puppies shall be given, and this contract is null and void.

Breeder makes no guarantees regarding the loss of the puppy due to accidental death, theft, sickness due to lack of vaccinations, etc. or any other loss beyond the Breeder’s control except as stated above.

Breeder will not refund money in whole or part for any reason other than stated in the guarantee.

Buyer also certifies, by signing this agreement that he/she is not acting as an agent in this purchase; that the Buyer will not resell this puppy at any time to a puppy mill, commercial breeder, pet store, or medical research facility.

I acknowledge that this is a legal & binding contract and have reviewed and agree to the terms listed above. The buyer will also maintain up to date vaccines, wormings, and to keep the puppy/dog in humane conditions and provide proper food, water, and shelter. Failure to follow the above contract completely will result in “A Breach of Contract” and shall make this contract null and void. This contract applied only to the original purchaser and is NOT transferable.
